The Condition
The upper portion of the neck (upper cervical spine) has unique characteristics that make it the “weakest link” in the spine and as such, susceptible to injury. Slips and falls, poor posture, sports injuries, whiplash, and car accidents
are just a few of many factors that can contribute to structural instability in the upper neck region.
Atlas Displacement Complex is a condition involving abnormal alignment, mechanics, and nervous system function stemming from the upper cervical region. This mis-alignment can have many painful secondary effects,
commonly known as symptoms:
Headaches & Migraines
Post - Concussion Syndrome (PCS)
Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI)
Dizziness & Vertigo
Upper & Lower Neck Pain
Arm and/or Shoulder Pain
Pinched Nerves
Numbness and/or Tingling
TMJ Pain
Decrease in Range of Motion
Degenerative Joint Disease
NeuroDegenerative Disorders
The Process
Our process always begins with a Complementary Consultation. This is simply a conversation, not a commitment,
that allows you the opportunity to explain your needs and goals, learn about our personalized approach to healthcare, and ultimately determine if Keystone is the right place for you.
Moving forward, our initial Comprehensive Structural Examination spans 1 - 2 visits and involves specific, objective analytics to determine if an Atlas Displacement is present and its global effects on your entire musculoskeletal system.
Mechanical Displacement Calculation
High Resolution Digital Postural Analysis
Neuro-Thermal Evaluation
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Reading
Advanced Panoramic 3-D Imaging
Rotational Instability Study

After the Comprehensive Structural Examination, all results will be compiled, analyzed,
and reviewed, taking up to 8 hours.
A follow up Results Conference will be scheduled to review and discuss your specific case
and options for personalized healthcare.
Following the Results conference, the first Image - Guided Atlas Correction will be rendered
to begin reducing your Atlas Displacement. Any necessary Corrective Exercise
and/or Structural Rehabilitation will be performed as well.
The Solution
Personalized
Structural
Intensive
Many of our patients at Keystone are referred from either a healthcare physician or their personal family/friends, and have been suffering with
chronic health challenges for a period of time.
Long-standing effects from a chronic Atlas Displacement require more than a single
adjustment, and quite often need
a multi-modal approach.
Structural
Protection
For those who have completed a Personalized Structural Intensive and want to continue to
protect the progress that has been achieved,
we offer a Structural Protection program.
While not required, it allows for further
optimization of your spinal structure
and nervous system.
Instead of a "One Size Fits All" approach, our treatment is customized based on many factors, such as your Health History, Complete Structural Examination, your personal goals, and/or any risk factors that
your condition might create. Following the first Image - Guided
Atlas Correction, there are several ways to work together
to get you back to living your best life.
